Sterilization and Safety
HTC is committed to providing every client with a safe, aseptic environment.
We use an autoclave, which is spore tested twice monthly to ensure that it’s working properly and eliminating any possible microorganisms.
Prior to a piercing all the necessary items – tools, jewelry and a new, unused needle – are all autoclaved.
All our needles are single-use, and get properly disposed of in a “sharps” (biohazard) container after your piercing.
Piercers wash their hands and use fresh gloves for every piercing. Since they have all been educated about cross-contamination and how to maintain an aseptic environment, they will often change gloves during the preparation and piercing, further preventing exposure to any type of pathogen.
The HTC Crew ensures that the piercing rooms are aseptic environments for each individual who comes in to be pierced.
